WE EXPORT ITALIAN WINES AS CHIANTI,
VERDICCHIO, BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO, PROSECCO AND OTHERS.
With fertile lands rich in ambiance and culture,
Castel Del Monte gives birth to noble wines of
the region like those of the Cantina Cooperativa
della Riforma Fondario di Ruvo di Puglia which
continues to be produced with the highest
standards of tradition that continue on from
centuries past, awarding these wines prestigious
high honors for quality.
For this reason, the
products of the Crifo Company are part of the
noble select group of Pugliese wine growers and
producers, maximizing the expression of the Old
World wine indulgence that is rooted in the
history of the region.
Wine has a rich history
dating back thousands of years,
with the earliest known
production occurring around
8,000 years ago on the territory
of modern-day Georgia. It first
appeared in the Balkans at about
4500 BC and was very common in
ancient Greece, Thrace and Rome.
Wine has also played an
important role in religion
throughout history. The Greek
god Dionysus and the Roman
equivalent Bacchus represented
wine, and the drink is also used
in Christian Eucharist
ceremonies and the Jewish
Kiddush.
